I am new to Tekno recently purchased an mt410 2.0 kit after building some tamiya kits.

I purchased the m2c 12mm to 17mm hex adapters and purchased some monster truck tyres which are method terraforms on array rims it says 1/8th scale as it's 17mm hex however the car is 1/10th scale.

Got the wheels delivered today they look absolutely massive. Maybe it's because I haven't had a monster truck before or it's just the tamiya kids use really small wheels. Are these wheels fine for the car size wise? I haven't built the car as waiting for the gpm metal diff cases to arrive.

Here is a little perspective for you. I have DuraTrax Warthogs on my MT410 2.0 and they are 4.9 inches in diameter. The second picture is a tire off my 1/5 scale Baja and it has a diameters of 6.7 inches. Those tires you picked ar Method Geoforms and they have a diameter of 6.77 inches, which is the same size as my Baja tire.

Ah that does put that in perspective. I'm all wheels compared to the car. I'll have a look at rims then tyres and pay more attention to the widths thank you very much

I have not tried them, but I would assume they will do the trick. They should definitely work out better then the first choice.

I'd go with smaller, Backflip LPs from Arrma were pretty popular

Thanks for your help placed and order just need to wait for my metal gpm diff casings/dog bones for the diff then I can start building

Yes, even Backflips LP tires are a bit over the top, IMO, when it comes to how tall a tire is for a monster truck. The following pic is the MT410 with Backflips LP tires on..,

The MT410 2.0, being a bit shorter in the wheelbase department, will look goofy like this..

😆 😆 The dumbest thing I've ever seen 👆👆👆

If I put those terraform tyres on the last pic will definitely be true lol. I thought they looked a bit big in my hands.

It looks amazing! Do you have the parts you used documented anywhere?

I’m trying to decide between building an ET48 2.2 basher, or getting an MT410 2.0 and using the savings to put towards upgrades for my Kraton v6.

Upgrades were M2C motor mount
M2C 17mm wheel hex conversion
Tekno tower to tower brace
Hobbywing Combo MAX10 G2 140A ESC 3665SD 2400KV G3 Motor
Motor fan is yeah racing

Thanks very much! Which body did you use?

Ah okay, thanks. Looks great though.
Cheers really happy with the way it turned out. I taped the inside and used shooglue so the body is stronger otherwise it would of broken a while ago lol
