Holy poop. It’s night and day.

Got to drive my new to me et48.3 for the first time today. Kershaw Designs 2200KV motor, Mamba Monster X esc, Savox SB2290, M2C goodies. Have yet to install the M2C game changer chassis and shock towers yet.

This is the smoothest I’ve ever driven. I always thought Teknos were going to be good but never live up to the hype. I was dead wrong. Driving it is amazing.

I don't think I'll buy anything other than Tekno moving forward. I was blown away.
Exactly what I said 4 years ago. Sold all my other stuff.

Own:
  • MT410
  • LWB MT410
  • EB48.2 turned 1/8 scale SCT
  • EB48.4 turned on-road bashing buggy with a 4274 2800kv motor on it
  • EB48 2.0 racing buggy
  • ET48.3 racing truggy (still amazing)
  • ET48 2.0 racing truggy
I am tempted by some of the cool Arrma stuff like the Infraction or the Mojave. But again, I barely have enough time to run my Tekno stuff...

Off the back of the love affair Im having with my Mt410, I have an et48.3 on its way from Georgia in the USA to the UK (as theyre so hard to come by, here). Its a very similar spec to yours, albeit with a hw (xr8 plus) sensored system, a bunch of M2c stuff and a really high end servo (by my standards) - an MKS X5 HBL550.
Im expecting it to be so amazing that I immediately sell my Arrma Talion EXB which has been great apart from the PITA diffs. Its been set up by a racer so in his words its gonna "rip like a tater chip"......which in English English roughly translates to "is as fast as a potato crisp"......and that's apparently very fast.
What pinion will are you running ? Im going 19t which is what my 410 runs.
Was even wondering about gearing back down a bit and running it on 6S.

I always resisted the temptation of 6s, not for the “too much power” thing. Who doesn’t love too much power! But more for the reliability of the truck. 4s is plenty and keeps wear and damage to a minimum, so I can run my trucks and not spend my time fixing them.

I’ve already started looking at the ET410.2 and am contemplating selling my Kraton, Vorteks, and TA MT10. I’ve upgraded all 3 to the point of being bulletproof so it’s tough to let them go as they are all built to hold up to my 5 year old’s driving style which is pretty much full speed launches every time.

You are going to love it and I will totally understand if you immediately want to sell your Talion lol.

The et410.2 is an awesome chassis but it really is a better racer than basher. It only really accepts 2s race batteries so your options are a bit limited. If you want to go this route make sure you know it’s really only a 2s truck. If you want another small Tekno to bash with her the sct410.3. Bigger battery tray 1/8 scale components. Buy a set of badlands for some sct wheels and fill the chassis with dirt and grass to your hearts content.

Really appreciate the insight. Limited battery options on the et410.2 are a turn off.

Yeah, if you don’t have anything else than runs 2s shorty packs it’s a bit of a downer. The chassis is super fun though. On one of our local tracks I can run similar lap times as my et48 but it’s a whole lot more work. The et410 was my first Tekno build and I’m glad I have it.

Only 2s I've got now is a Team Associate Reflex 14t and I'm looking to get rid of it as I never run it.
