Hey everyone,

I recently picked up a hobbywing 3660 for my SCT, but have a castle mamba monster x esc...

I did not realize that the sensor wire that came with the hobbywing motor does not fit on the esc. Is there a different cable that I can purchase?
Or perhaps does anyone know if the pinouts are the same and maybe I could create one?

Strange! Looks like an oversight on my behalf!

I have not ran into this do you have any pics
Here's the best I could get.

As you can see, the hobbywing sensor cable pins are Wayyyy closer together than the castle esc!

They don’t even fit Castle’s own motors! You need this adapter:

Or alternatively, you can get a wire from holmeshobbies.com that is designed to go between the motor/Castle ESC without the need for an adapter.

Edit: this is the Holmes cable. They’re out of stock on this one, but they might have different lengths available: https://holmeshobbies.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=250100018

Wow! Whatya know! I found the little castle "adapter" in the bottom of the esc box....I didn't even know that was hiding in there!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I just assumed all sensor wires/ports were universal!
