48 2.2 Servo hight and adjustments

Hello all,

I just replaced both servos of my Nb48-2.2 and noticed a few issues.
Before replacing I had a full size servos (Futaba hps-cb701) and now I use a short profile servo which almost everyone here in Israel uses on Xray,Mugen and Kyosho.

I noticed these issues:
1. Steering Servo: too low, the horn rubs against the battery cover. I was able to fix this issue by:

• Added plastic spacers (the grey color below the servo in the picture) to the servo top screws. (took them from a kyosho kit)
• Added 4 metal washers to the rod which leveled it up so it's straight.

2. Throttle/Brake Servo: The bottom of the linkage end (plastic part) touches the top of the servo... I had the metal horn, I replaced it to the plastic hoping it will allow more space but it does not...

Is there a way to adjust the linkage hight (to make it higher by 1-2mm?
Is there a better solution for the Steering Servo?

I did the exact same thing (raised 1.5mm) for my steering servo on another platform. I'd say your steering link angle looks pretty darn good. As long as rod end clears the receiver box, go with it. As far as the throttle linkage is concerned, I'm sure someone will be along to help with that.
