Wondering if you can help me out. I was assembling the center diff on my NB48 2.O and noticed if I tightened the screws all the way the gears are essentially locked. If I back out the screws about one half turn everything works smoothly, but there is obvious play between the large gear and the diff housing causing pretty bad leaking. I assembled it three times just to make sure I am doing it correctly but no luck. Maybe I overtightened the screws initially and ruined the gasket? Stripped the plastic diff housing? One thing I noticed was the bottom quarter of the screws are completely stripped.
This topic was briefly discussed, but no one has mentioned the stripped screw portion. Any help is much appreciated.
