Tekno RC Wide Rear Pivot for 1/8 Buggy Platform!

Tekno RC is excited to announce a new wider rear pivot configuration for the EB/NB48 2.x 1/8th buggy platform. The new parts are engineered to increase rear stability, improve consistency, and inspire more confidence while circling the track.

New slightly shorter rear suspension arms have been designed to go along with the wider C and D blocks. This allows us to maintain the same overall track width, while widening the rear suspension pivot for improved handling characteristics.

Widening the suspension pivot generates more support at the rear of the buggy and increases precision when quickly changing directions or modulating the throttle. The buggy will feel more planted and predictable everywhere around the track, but especially through high-speed sweeper sections. In addition, our drivers have reported more drive through bumpy sections and out of corners. The result is a faster buggy that is easier to drive lap after lap.

Seth VanDalen was using all of the new rear pivot parts to bring home the 2026 Dirt Nitro Challenge Pro Nitro Buggy title, showing that the parts are capable of winning at the very top levels of 1/8th Offroad RC racing.

Key Benefits

  • Increased rear stability
  • Improved consistency on throttle
  • Increased drive out of turns
  • Improved high grip handling characteristics
Recommended Use

  • High-bite tracks
  • Fast, flowing layouts
  • Rough or blown-out sweeping turns where you need to maintain corner speed.
  • For very loose conditions, or tracks with mostly 180° turns, we recommend the narrower pivot.

my order is in, I race on astro, all for more rear support. I didn't know what C block to get so i went with -2 as I want a super low ride Hight, hopefully that was the right call.

The C block in the 2.2 kit is the -1. This gives -2 degrees of anti-squat with the -2 D block and center pills. Running on Astro I expect you want at least this much anti-squat and perhaps more.

I went the DIY way over the winter with the truggy c/d blocks and 2.0 arms. Hopefully when they come out with eb48 2.3 it will have all the new upgrades on it. My eb48 2.1 has parts on it from 5 different tekno's. 😆
