When would a person want to use the 1mm/2mm bulkhead risers? Would it be more beneficial to use to lower ride height on high traction track?

When you lower your ride height, it changes the angle of your drive line. So raising the diff will help straighten out your drive line. So you would less binding of your drive line. I could be wrong, but that's how I've looked at it.

That's pretty much my thoughts as well...

It's just that the raising of the diff, with the spacers, also raises the whole bulkhead/tower. This has me thinking the higher center of gravity would now become more of a factor and just not worth using the 1mm or 2mm riser.

Maybe I don't understand how a 2.2 goes together but I didn't think the gear boxes went up or down. The hinge pin retainers and shock towers are attached to the gearbox. With the spacers aren't you lowering the chassis plate independent of the suspension pivot points? Lower CG and with more of the weight below the hinge pin retainers a lower roll center.?

Exactly. The whole rear clip gets raised...
