...got a little juiced up on upgrades. I think it’s ready to be sent.

Super sweet build. I've got something very similar in the works (incomplete and haven't even started the build yet). Is that a custom piece at the left rear just behind the strapless battery tray? It doesn't look like either a trimmed part of the standard Tekno parts in the kit nor something handmade.

I'm also curious what pinion you chose and it you have any overheating with the 1515 2200 kV.

It’s a custom 3D printed piece from one of the guys on the Facebook Tekno MT410 and Tekno Basher Group. It’s a esc cover/protector he made for his relocated esc for the m2c wide chassis.

I got a 17t pinion in there right now plan on switching it out to a 16t. I haven’t ran it yet as I just wrapped up the build and needed to paint my body. I’m currently away on a fly fishing trip. I know alot of people do run the MMX/1515 or Max8/2200 combos

Regardless to be safe I do have a Team Vikings Aluminum heatsink that will be delivered soon and plan on running a 40mm fan powered from the 4s lipo balance plug. Been looking at ECS RC cooling on eBay. I hope this helps with cooling.

It really all depends on your outdoor temp, size / weight of tires and how hard you run it.

You won’t need tire speed for top speed, but you’ll need it for air control. 17t is good balance, but you already could overheat if trigger heavy.

I have a WTF esc fan on my mmx and it pulls more than double the amount of air then the stock cc fan

very clean build by the way 👍

Thank you! I plan on doing that esc fan mod as well.

Just for quick reference this is the heatsink and fan combo for the motor. I’ll still be doing an esc fan mod in the future.

The fan will mount to the heatsink and the heatsink just clips to the motor. Fan is powered by the balance plug of lipo. I’ll post pics once the combo gets setup.

I have run the car yet but if needed I’ll be set with cooling.

let me know if your cc 1515 motor overheats.

Did some maiden runs with the 1515 the other day. I didn’t get any overheating of the motor. ESC fan was running like crazy though. Was using a 16T pinion

Took a turn a little to hard and summersalted into some boulders in my swale.

The damage… along with 2 bent cv shafts… LOL.

After a high flying bash session the wheelie bar didn’t survive. Wheel bar section snapped off the backing and was forever lost.

Trying out the Tbone rear stunt bumper now.

@EngenZerO Ever get your heatsink mounted to your 1515? I'd love to see a picture of it! Thanks!

Nah never needed to really use it. It is bulky… I actually just run a simple castle fan and it’s been working great at 17T here in the Colorado heat.

I do have pictures of it. The fan I got also never fit on it so I gotta find one that would fit better if I ever do decide to use it.

I also got another 40mm mount that is lower profile that seems like it would work a lot better. I may test that on my ET48 2.0.
