You will need to use another mount location.

I suggest the M2C rear tower brace setup and optional ESC mounting plate.

The ESC itself MIGHT fit with a 4068/4268 can. I'm not sure how much bigger the Max 8 is from the Max 6 but you can fit a 4274 sized can with the Max 8 without relocation. Depends what size motor you're going with. I'm assuming you are talking about the Max 6 combo with the 1650kv motor which will need esc relocation
