I would like to give a big thanks to Mongoose for hooking me up with this great lightly used et48.3

Welp, and sorry Tekno. I'll get ya next time around (y)!

I couldn't wait any longer for the ET48 2.0 to be released. So, hopefully, this Arrma monster truggy is not a complete letdown. The EXB is basically what I was planning to do to a ET48 2.0. I only got it, because it comes as a roller, and lets me choose what junk I put in it :p.

Even though I peeked in the box to check for any shipping damage, I have to wait for Santa to deliver the package under the tree?. The Arrma Kraton EXB has to better than last truggy experience. The only other truggy I had before was a MRC/ZD Racing ZRT-1 ? :ROFLMAO:

I bought three ZD Racing truggies back in 2010/2011. I had winning bids of $100~$110 for each one. The daughter and I were saying to one another, "Holy crap! Put the dog and sis' inside 'cause this thing is way fast and heavy....". After about a weeks time we were busting front universal shafts every three to four runs on that truggy. Luckily I was getting a deal with online parts. The dude (thank you Bruce) was giving me 2 universal shafts for the price of one 'cause of a technicality of pictures and wording that the site had for the item. I was going through four universal shafts a week sometimes. The thing was a tank, but the one weak link overshadowed everything else. I should have kept them as I probably could have found another truggy's CV/Universal drive shafts to use.

That was my short lived 1/8 truggy experience. The only positive thing out it... I almost doubled my money selling them.

I now see ZD Racing having V3 of these truggies out now with some changes made from the original. Hopefully, the new front drive line is made with better steel.
