From a first look, its almost identical to the 2.1 - build is pretty much then same bar the odd few new parts.
If you have the 2.1 you may not want to rush to upgrade anything ;)

Oh great.. I just got the NB48 2.2 too as my first Tekno. Tekno is surely addicting. Coming out with the new ET48 soon?

I'm a little confused about the rear drive shafts. The new ones are 93.5MM but TKR9087 (stock for the 2.1) are 96.5mm? For me it seemed like the rear driveshafts should have gotten longer to prevent pop outs after installing the -2MM parts.

Got mine NM48 2.2 yesterday, looks interesting. I would like to know Ryan Mayfield's set-up from 2024 ROAR Nats. The video Amain Hobbies did on their build said they used his set-up and so I'm curious.

The overall length of the rear driveshaft is the same. The length is the "dog bone " part. The stub that fits through the bearings is longer. It's a noticeable difference! My EB48 2.2 conversion is 100% complete.

Does anyone know if a manual is available online? I'm trying to figure out which spares to keep from my 2.1.
Thanks!

How did the new rear drive shaft compare to the the stock 2.1? Did it change the way it handles, if so how? Thanks

So my friend and I decided to get back into 1/8 scale buggy racing after almost 20 years out of the game. Last time we were both racing was nitro so we decided to go electric. My buddy ended up picking up an X-Ray this past week, and after much deliberation I called my local track to see what buggies were most popular and what they supported.

The owner told me he supported Tekno and persuaded me to get one. He also told me that the EB48 2.2 buggy had just been released, he just received a small shipment a few days prior and that he had two left in stock.

I was able to stop by last night and pick mine up. I've heard a lot of good things about techno although I've never driven one. I'm really looking forward to putting the kit together and getting on the track for the first time.
