Hello! New here. Been eyeing on Tekno for a minute now. Recently purchased and built a RC8B4.1 nitro and just ordered a NB48 2.2 as we speak right after seeing this thread This will surely help a lot. I've considered other models as well after watching your other videos so perfect timing on this one. Thank you.

I have a couple of questions for all please...

1. I plan to install an electronic switch instead of a mechanical one. Can the box for said switch be removed? Or what is the best thing to do other than covering?

2. After watching the video stating that the protek clutch kit will not be a direct fit as modification/parts re needed, will the AE stock clutch kit be compatible with the NB48?

Hey bud - saw your comment on YouTube and I did reply - but will say the same here!

You could just not install the switch box since it's an additional bracket anyways. Can't see any issues with leaving it off.
Not sure on the clutch question though as I'm not really a Nitro guy - hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be around to answer shortly!

Quick question, I followed your procedure for bleeding/emulsion shocks. However just like your video, no shock oil came out during the bleed process. The instructions mentioned that there SHOULD BE excess oil coming out otherwise more oil is required to be added... Is it OK to leave it the way it is?

Add a few drops more oil. I didn't want it to seem too messy on the video, but I did actually add a few more drops so it bleeds just a touch

Your reply is much appreciated. What would be the effect if I left it as is, without adding the extra oil? air bubbles? It seems smooth at the moment....it rebounded a little just like Adam Drake's videos.

Hi! Seems to be an extra bag "S" not mentioned in the manual other than the optional servo saver post.

What are the plastic circle rings for among other spare parts?

HELP PLS: Stuck on this step as I cannot line up the screw that installs the clutch and spring together....

I've been working on this for 3 hours.. Not sure if the factory springs are too stiff, or there are missing holes on the flywheel for springs to seat.. Please help.

Ensure the wings are orientated correctly, with color pairs opposite each other. Insert one pin at a time. It is fidgety as I had to fight a little to get them in, but they do eventually go. Just make sure they are lined up correctly.....

I went with all stock configuration other that the throttle linkage installed on the underside of the servo arm, manual says to install on the top but throttle linkage bar was not level...

Also installed some skid plates..

So I think how you have it should be fine, just know that you can also loosen the setscrew(s) on the carb and rotate it to whatever angle you prefer.
