Smc 7200 4s and 7200 6s lipos

These batteries would not fit the stock trey. I’m certain this applies to the sct410, et48 and mt410 since these all use the same electronic and battery setups. Maybe the eb48 too, but I don’t have one to verify.

Both these batteries are the same length. The 6s is taller and wider.

After I cut out the end of the tray they both fit fine and have a good distance from the outdrive and spur.

That is weird, I just looked on their site, the 6s 7200mah true spec lipo has same length 160mm and width 46mm measurements as the 4s 7200mah, I could not get the 5s packs too pull up maybe they are out of stock or because I'm using my phone...

Does the 5s pack have different measurements LxW than the 4s and 6s packs?

The 22.2v is a 6s battery and the 14.8v is a 4s battery. Neither of the ones you have shown are 5s batteries. I don't believe that SMC sells any 5s batteries but I am not sure on that. I've never seen them, but I also don't look for 5s batteries.

Hahaha you are right. I wanted a 5s, but bought the 6s because they didn’t have the 5s. And when I received them I thought I received the 5s. It was a late night purchase. Thanks for pointing that out and not just letting me continue with that error.

Hahaa thought maybe I had read it wrong, for a min... I take it you edited the 1st post too say 6s now, plus that 1st pic has the what I thought was a 5s pack looking a lot longer than the 4s pack, the other pics you posted they appear much closer in length

I waited for 3 weeks to see if they would get the 4s 6700 back in stock with no luck. I didn’t want to go down in mah so I went with the 7200.

How do you like the SMC batteries? I was thinking of going with them but I prefer not to have to modify the chassis to get them to fit.

There are many options that don’t need to be modified. I have other rc’s that these fit real nice in. Smc makes great batteries. I like the low profile to help keep the cg low on the 7200 4s. I have a 6700 4s from smc and it fits perfectly with no modifications.
