I figured this was a better place for this thread than over on Rc Talk or the Arrma forums.

I recently purchased a Tekno NT48.3 roller and I am undecided as to what I should do with it. I haven't run a nitro in over 4 years and the last time it didn't end well. So I am thinking of just converting it to electric. Comparing the manuals I think I have all of the parts I need. I might have to pick up the split center diff mount off of eBay.

It's still in the mail, so I will post pics and update as I go along.

Looks like converting it to electric would be cheaper on your end for sure. I don't see an ESC on that list so I assume you have one already as well as a servo?

As far as picture size goes, there are two sizes to select from when posting your pics; thumbnail and full size.

Your pics that you posted look like screenshots of your screen...so no matter what you do they will look small when you post them here...you end up looking at a screen on a screen.

Yeah the roller comes with 2 Savox SB2273 servos and I have a BNIB Mamba Monster 2. I am just going to pick up a receiver off eBay and still undecided on what body and tires I want to run.

You could probably save a few bucks here and there sourcing from ebay. Also, don’t forget to consider battery/charger cost in your nitro / electric comparison.

Not trying to steer you away from Electric at all, just highlighting that point for you.

hi there - new to the forum and appreciate the information in advance. I have a NT48.3 that I built last year. Due to my neighborhood and use I want to convert to electric. It looks like the above picture contains all that is needed for this conversion but I can read due to size. Can someone post what exactly I would need for this conversion? Looks like I need to switch the chassis as well. Thanks again for the help!

This build is going kind of slow, spent way too much money at Christmas so I probably won't make any headway on this until I get my stimulus check. So far all I have is the motor and esc.

Thank you for the info! Very helpful. I just ordered the parts and should be in this week. Decided on the Mamba 2 motor(2200kv) and ESC. Still decidicing on which Lipos to power it. Let you know how it goes!

I missed this when I was comparing things in the manual https://www.ebay.com/itm/353334426375 and I am sure I missed a few other items as well. I'll find out for sure once parts start rolling in.

So far this is where I am. Waiting on some more parts.

And I really wish there were some sort of directions included with the chassis stiffener kit, I figure out where most of the hardware goes but I have all this left over and no idea where it goes or what it is for.

I’ve had no luck with shipped orders lately. Try Ace Hardware supply, they carry those types of screws.
My Ace only carries 10.9 hardware and I don't remember them having anything that small I could always go check later today. I usually go to Menards as they carry 12.9 black oxide screws.

Here goes super dumb question; could you fit the EB48.2 arms on that beast? My interest is to narrow the track width but maintain the shock towers.

I'm not sure. What about EB48.3 arms? I would think those would fit. I'm pretty sure the 48.4 arms are different though.

What is this thing for?

And this thing that came with the M2C Racing rear chassis stiffener kit.
