That's good you got the new one. Hole looks better but adding .5mm isn't going to do much

Question? Did they revise the dead space between the brace and the Motor mount? If not, no matter the hole improvement i don't see it lasting much longer than the OG one but hope i am wrong.

Is the bottom still without the routed area to sit down in the chassis like the stock brace?

+1 wonder If it's still too short like the first version and leaves the gap

Tried to measure but, hard to tell without installing. I think there still might be?A few things are different no right angle notch by the screw hole it has been rounded to add more Material. Maybe Poppy will install his while I’m at work.

yeah thanks. i was hoping it was shaped at the bottom to sit down in the routed area in front like the stock one, nope...

Would help to make it stiffer but would cost 3x as much to machine I bet and intern passed to us buyers. I'm not getting the updated one based on what I have seen. Not enough improvements IMO.

Installed. Little bit of a gap. Hope it is enough to hold.

So they didn't address the gap at all, bummer... m2c probably isn't even aware of it. Well, the screw might or might not hold up to breaking better than the factory plastic on a realy hard hit but it will at least keep the chassis from flexing a lot better than plastic braces.

Edit: just saw in another thread the gap is by design. I don't get it but at least its good they know and not a miss. I'm on the fence if I want to get another. I think unless I break the stock brace I wont yet...
