Anyone have the x brace pop down constantly. Here is our first attempt at a solution.

That foam should work fine. I tend to overdo things sometimes. But it’s held up great ...it’s been on my truck for about a year. I did originally have stacked rubber grommets instead of springs...springs are a new addition.

Here’s the parts I used. And what it looked like wth rubber grommets vs springs. I may go back to the grommets.
