Guy's apologies if this is the wrong forum. I was just wondering is it possible to purchase a powered screwdriver with all the bits for the 48.3 build and maintenance going forward? As my hands are very weak and painful with arthritis I couldn't use manual tools effectively.

Thanks in advance..

I use a Milwaukee m12 screwdriver with MIP bits and am really happy with both. I built an axial bomber kit with hand tools but upgraded when I built my mt410, and I wish I hadn’t waited.

Here’s the driver I use:

And the bits:

There has been a lot of discussion about power screwdrivers on the arrma forum: https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/power-driver-what-do-you-use.2869/

+1 on the Milwaukee M12 screwdriver and MIP speed bits. That's what I used on building my kit and my maintenance on my 2 RCs. Makes working on them so much easier and faster.

Since you are are Ireland and most of the users on this forum are from the US.

I will link you some products that you can buy in the UK which will be cheaper and faster shipping.

These are what I use when building and working on cars:

And the tool tips:

Both of these tools work great and the tool tips have been good quality and work well.

The power driver is cheap but it has been completely reliable and isn't so fast as to risk overheating plastic threads like some power drivers and drills.

The power tool I use is a Milwaukee m12 with MIP drivers. Can’t beat how easy it makes it to build and maintain rc. A couple things I would be sure of is that the clutch settings are turned all the way down on your driver and to finish tightening screws by hand. You won’t ever worry about stripping screws that way. Now if I’m going into aluminum I don’t ever worry about it if the driver is set on low. As said above these are a great investment!

Got some cheap hobbyking driver bits, and using them either on my Bosch screwdriver, or with Ikea's 10$ "Fixa" one when o the move. It's so weak there's no risk of stripping anything, but it helps with long screws.

MIP tips are the best I have used. Currently, if I use a power tool its the 8v dewalt gyroscopic driver. You just give it a slight turn in the direction you want the to drive the screw. It is also variable speed based on how much you turn the handle. I stop just before driving the screw in all the way and do the last couple turns by hand so I can fully gauge how tight everything is.
