Hello all, it’s been a while since I last posted. In the time that I’ve been away from the forum, I’ve just been having a blast beating the snot out of my m2c’d mt410, sadly I’ve been having no luck with bodies. I was going through like they were growing off trees… 😬 so I decided to extend my mt410 to a LWB with the M2c extended wide chassis and spent lots of time researching tough bodies to pair it with. Luckily I came across a proline brute body that was on sale brand new at my LHS. Here is the end result, I’ve seriously planted this thing bottom side up from extremely high jumps and not even a slight dent in the body! It’s pure genius! I’ve gone through not 1, not 2, but THREE Russian indestructible bodies. This body has seriously taken a nasty nasty beating.

I can only agree with how good the Proline Bash Armor bodies are. I'm always very circumspect when I hear about RC related stuff that can "take a beating", well those bodies truly can "take a beating". They are that good!

What towers are you using, @Tekno_craze ? Would love to see body-less pics of your build.

I have the M2c towers but I modified them a decent amount to get them to sit the body a lot lower and flush with the bottom of the side guards. When I get off work in the AM I’ll shoot some pics of it with the lid off!

I actually have these photos of after modifying the rear tower, I’ll get some pics of the front tower tomorrow!

I can see that now. Did you have to drill 2 new holes to lower the rear body mounts?

Yup! And for the front tower instead of mounting the body post mounts on the inside of the tower facing the rear of the vehicle, I mounted them on the front of it facing the front of the truck. I hollowed out the front allu surrounding the mounting holes and shaved the body mount just a hair so that it was a snug fit. Since they were in the front I was able to get the body post a lot lower.

Here’s a pic of the front tower, and a pic of how awesome the rpm cage for the mmx 8s works! Just did some trimming and now I don’t have to worry about my esc constantly flying out 😂😂

Nice looking setup!

Great to hear you've had some success with the body, it seems to be a big flaw in the mt410 design. I believe that's why tekno don't supply a body with the truck kit. My ET48 2.0(×2) and EB48 2.0 bodies are all original.
