Nice, thanks for the info on the fans. Were you able to drop the fans right in or it needed to be modified? Fans still working with no problems and good cooling?

Can I ask how you affixed the Max8 esc ? Following a skatepark bash at the weekend, my Max8 is rather loose and I wondered if there was a better solution than sticky tape ?
Btw - Im also going to run the same dual fan surpass setup. They just arrived but Ive not fitted them yet. How are they doing ? im told theyre very noisy. I take it you run them from the receiver as there are no spare sockets on a Max8.

Be sure to wipe down all surfaces with alcohol and let dry. Also use 3m or 30# double sided tape. Not the cheap stuff.

Sorry, just see all your post.
Surpass Fan run great, directly on the receiver, and yes a little noisy when the car is next to me but when i drive i don't hear them.
Max8 is screwed on the stock esc plate.
