My MT410

My first kit build. All spektrum 6s electronics & 4s copperhead tires from Jenny’s. New gensacearespammers dual charger and two Zeee 5200 4s batteries. Trx4 sport body.

Did my first soldering today in many years with a new ec5 connector to clean things up. And tried my hand at painting and masking.

Glad to join the Tekno crew.

My new MT410 2.0 build!
Proline Cliffhanger pro body, clear matt finish.
Proline MX28 Badland tyres, 3s lipo Hardpack
HW Quicrun 3652SL 3250kv (14T pinion) + WP10BL 120A G2 ESC combo.
Hop-ups: chassis brace, machined CNC pistons

It's taken a hammering from my teenage boys, cracked a piston and smashed my lovely bodywork, but that's it so far!

I really like the flat black. I am assuming you painted the outside of the body. I think I'd have to paint a gray, or different color, on the inside to show through as the flat black layer gets scraped away.

How do you like that Quicrun combo?

Black inside: Tamiya Lexan Spray Paint - PS-5 Black TAM86005
Flat clear on the outside: Tamiya Lexan Spray Paint - PS-55 Flat Clear TAM86055

Quicrun combo is good value and ok but should have gone for a 3660 can size which would take 4s (the esc is up to it I think). Its a bit underpowered atm. Heat sensor has cut out a couple of times on grass with my teens at the helm, ragging it full throttle. But motors are sealed and esc water resistant
We've been sending it on a home made ramp - piston wasn't cracked, the cap screw holding it on the piston rod had come undone...
