hello tekno fam! My mt410 if finally here ? so I figured I'd start a build tread. As everyone else has already stated about this kit, the quality is outrageous!! When I first opened the box, it smelt like a pair of nikes but better? gotta love that new rc smell. Im going to begin the build tonight. I went through the whole manual and I gotta say, im a bit intimidated ? I've never built a kit before so I hope I didn't get in over my head. Hopfully you guys can help me out if and when I get stuck. Thanks guys and I'll be sure to include lots of pics as I work through this kit. ??

Is it done yet? :p
I was so excited I almost sleep with the chassis under my pillow the first night I got the kit.

No but seriously the last kit I built was a couple of nitros about 20 years ago before my MT410 kit. You will be absolutely fine with this build. The MT was such a joy to build and the instructions are the best I have ever seen in a RC car kit. Plenty of youtube videos breaking down every bag you can follow along if you stuck or have doubts about something. One tip is to not over tighten the screws when going into plastic parts and make sure you don't miss the screws that need lock tight. I caught myself doing that a few times thinking the screw would just stop spinning. Slight resistance is your cue to stop screwing and just watch the head of the screw and make sure it isn't sinking.

Have fun and keep us posted.

the build thus far has gone VERY smooth. The manual is so clear and concise. I took particular notice to the qualty of the diffs. They're gorgeous! I used lots of premier blue for the o rings, put 50k diff oil in the rear 500k center and 100k in the front. The thing that was slightly irritating was putting together the rear turnbuckle. It gets a little confusing since they screw on to the posts in different directions than how you would think they would. Another thing i though was weird was how the rear A arms slanted inwards. I though I did somthing wrong but I gues that's what all those different pills do.??‍♂️ anyways, here some pics of my progress. Thanks for checking out my build guys! ??

Oh yea, I noticed the manual said i had to drill holes in the shock caps???? is that correct? Are they imulsion shocks?

Update: the build has been going awsome. Things got slightly irritating when i got to the steering rack and center diff though. I must admit, I definitely prefer arrma's diff case design over teknos. The center diff is a bit "fiddly" as my fine British friends here on the forums would say ? also, I made a pretty stupid mistake and screwed in the front of the truck to the chassis without the bumper put on. Csn anyone guess what happen ? well, if you said the screws went through the chassis, into the the front diff straight through the diff and into the putdrive, you'd me correct!?? I backed the screws out and had to get rid of a bit of plastic that got pushed up into the outdrive. Everything works fine now, but I AM NOT HAPPY! Also, I should of shimmed the front A arms as they're a bit sloppy. Next time. Heres some pics of where I'm at in the build and the incredibly stupid mistake I made. ??‍♂️

Hey tekno bros. I got the shocks all built up and installed on the mt410? and man oh man are they sublime!? all I have left is the chassis side skirts ,battery tray and servi mount. Body will be painted up this weekend. I throughly enjoyed this build! For my first kit, I'm pretty proud of myself. My fiance doesn't seem that impressed though? I ordered a 4092 hobbystar ,1730kv motor for my kraton so I can pulled the blx sysyem out and put it into twkno. I can't wait to drive this thing! It is literally rc perfection ?

How are you planning on running the BLX system 4s, 6s..?? Pinion size..??
Running the blx, I plan on using a 18 tooth pinion. As far as batteries, I'm gana try both and most likely run both until I come to the realization that 4s is pretty for this light af truck ?

hey, youmgiys got picks of your camber and toe? I feel like mine is a bit much?

As long as you built it to manuals specs, then you don't want to measure and adjust things until it is RTR...meaning all electronics, batteries, wheels and body, ready to run.

There are no electronics in your truck that I can see from the pics. It will sit a lot lower once you add that extra weight.

I run the Arrma BLX 185 with a 15 tooth pinion and on 4s On my MT410 and its still a beast. It feels like 6s because the truck seems lighter and more nimble than the Arrma. Also have a Hitech servo which blows anything stock Arrma has.
