Is there a metal spur gear made for the eb410.2 The composite ones aren’t lasting on rough rocky tracks in New England. If you can point one out or show what you have working it would be much appreciated.

I'm not aware of a metal one but I switched to this from Exotek so you don't have to open the diff to change the gear.

@Dogwood another option might be using one of Dusty Motors (dustymotors.com) mesh chassis covers to keep the rock and debris out of the chassis.

I would also suggest trying the 32 pitch gears. Exotek also sells a 2-piece spur gear in 32 pitch.

I’m going to try this. Since this seemed to happen at one track. I’m also hoping I don’t have a bent motor mount. I will tear into it this weekend.

Yeah, I'm not seeing Exotek's 32P gear for their diff mounting plate. Discontinued and sold out at the first handful of places I checked.

I run my ET410, and SCT410SL rides on a very rough pebble infused track. Between those two platforms, my current 32P spur gear replacement count is two in the pace five years. I love the fact that the chassis in the back end is open and leaves a place for stuff to fly out.

That non tub-style chassis was a big plus for me when I went searching for platform to run/"bash" on backyard track. Having very few driveline issues with the 410 platform is what prompted me to jump onboard with the SCT410SL... and that has even more openness to it.

I will add that I'm not using stock ET410's body. The EB/ET410 bodies have a snug fit all the way around. Having an escape path for pebbles is my main concern as I get ready to build .2 mini truggy and use stock body.
