The other day, I got so excited to have an hour of play time after work. I skipped pre-run inspection. I now remember I was going to take care of this after the last time I ran the mini truggy... which was last year ☺️ .

Post run inspection led me to this...

I'm always afraid of over tightening the set screws.

It's time to replace the spindles, they are consumables. This is one of the reasons I switched to another brand that uses aluminum spindles and aluminum caster blocks. In contrast the other brand has delrin bushings that wear out and need to be replaced, but they are cheaper than replacing blocks and spindles as a trade off ;)

You are probably right. Six years of abuse is taking its toll on parts.
