So excited that I took the day off today and waited for the UPS guy. I will provide updates as the build comes along. Second or third stint in this money pit, I mean hobby :) I guess not bad compared to luxury watches hehe.

Have fun with the build!

There is an error in the manual - I think it's Bag E.
The instructions are correct, it's just the bag letter and the page number that are incorrect - don't let it confuse you! lol
As you have a first batch you may find you have the error in your manual too - TeknoRC are aware and have rectified the issue for the next batch.

Thanks brother. I would have not noticed the error anyways, too much going on lol. I'll check in the morning and report back if the manual is corrected.

So far, I had to mount the center diff assembly a few times as the top and bottom assembly were not mating correctly. I guess a little force is needed to make them "lock-in" together. Not sure if needed, but had to loosen the bottom mount that screws on the chassis to "mate" the top and bottom chassis assembly together.

What servos are you planning to run? Not really feeling Protek. Although not applicable, it's like Bestbuy's Insignia brand to Amain's Protek lol... I will probably just go with Savox 2292 for both.. Reefs any good?

I generally run Savox, although Im more en electric guy so won't get the NB48 running any further.
Waiting for the EB48 2.2 instead TBH..... ;)

Got it.. Thanks again. I would say I'm about halfway done. Besides user error, build is pretty much smooth so far.

Although manual is a step above AE, I would say wrenching in screws in plastic is more smooth on the RC8B4.1 IMO.

Been busy at work so no much progress since the last update. Servos among other items are in but not installed, now waiting for the engine. Probably 80ish percent done. Here are some pictures beside a RC8B4.1 for now...
