so I see at the track that a lot of the nitros are a wider body manly cause of the wide guards, so if i put these
(TKR9324 – MUD GUARD AND BATTERY BOX SET (L/R, NB/NT48 2.0)
on and a nitro shell and maybe a little nip and tuck here and there do you think it will fit ok , or are the mounts different ? guessing should change
the handling to much just cosmetics , as i like the wider look.

cheers

Ryan

The shape of the chassis are very different and have a hard time seeing a way that you could just drop the NB side pods on an EB without major modification/drilling and still most likely end up with something that looks a little hacked up.

Sounds like it may just be time to upgrade to the EB48 2.0 ;)

no i have a EB48 2.0 but the NB48 2.0 looks wider . so was thinking of putting their guards on the electric

Looking at both sets of parts for each respective 2.0 platform, I just don't see how how they can be remotely compatible even with modification :(

I would probably be a lot easier to start with a NB48 and do an electric conversion

@Nahteno ,

My bet is on the fact that it would actually work!

NB48 and EB48 2.0 chassis look extremely similar but with different gard attachment points. You may be able to pull it off with the NB guards, NB body and new mounting holes in the guards for your mod.

Ask @Matthew_Armeni for an informed opinion.

I hear you on the wide body I like that look. I’ve considered a Kyosho MP10 Kit for this reason lol. My EB48.4 is so narrow but it works too haha
