Thanks for getting the list WoodiE!

That is a lot longer list and more expensive list than I was thinking it would be. Is it cheaper to just buy a new ET410 kit? If/when Tower gets it you should be able to get it, with coupon, for around $380.

I mean you would basically need new shocks, shock towers, A arms, turnbuckles, chassis, driveshafts and body.....what is really left besides the battery tray and some of the steering?

That’s what I was wondering...

Might be cheaper to just buy the full kit.

Thanks Woodie. Not sure if it would be cheaper to buy the full kit or not. i guess it depends on what upgrade components you would put on the vehicle during the build. I look at both the parts list above, what's included for both vehicles and agree the build is about 95% the same. It looks to me like Woodie's list is if you were going to build it like you just opened the box. There are items you don't *need* but probably want. Likewise, the list above has stock items (i.e. plastic shock towers), and for some parts, depending on the motor you plan on running, you might either upgrade to aluminum or carbon fiber/graphite. You need longer arms and turnbuckles. longer shocks, new shock towers, recommended gearing, and of course new wheels and tires.

I haven't priced out just the upgrade parts, but I did build a list of kit+upgrade options I would select to build it, and without ESC and motor or transponder, it's way more than $380, much closer to $1400. That did include servo, rcvr, tires, and wheels. I could probably do arms, turnbuckles, shocks, shock towers, & gearing changes for around $300, and that's with all of those being upgraded/option parts (cf shock towers, Ti turnbuckles, Ti+Ni shock shafts).
