I'm learning to clean my bearings.

I happen to have run out of the black grease the kit came with also.

This looks like a multi use product for greasing bearings and diff outdrives.

I've tried sewing machine oil in bearings. Not put them in the car yet but seems a bit thin. The grease out of the diff bearings was thick.
Thoughts?

Red n Tacky, cheap and highly performant automotive grease for bearings.

Mobil 28 aviation grease for bearings if you want to get really fancy but I have not seen major improvements over the RednTacky.

I've gone for red and tacky. The Mobil stuff is hard to find in the UK and shipping options were extortionate even within the UK.
