Hi Tekno Peeps,

I want to run a standard truggy body on a ET48 2.0 - just not into the new truck body.

Can you mount the TKR5401 front body mounts in what appears to be alternative mounting groves in the shock tower shown in my screen shot? Looks like it was made for this alternate position?

Appreciate any feedback

I also dislike the new body so the only option available to my region was the old NT48.3 body. But, the 2.0 body mounts not helping alot so I had to 3d print a new body mount and in addition, right and left chassis side pieces because the NT48.3 body is a bit wider than the new ET48 2.0.
Let me know if you need the 3d print files. I used TPU fillament which is flexible because I also tried PLA which is hard and it cracks when screwing in pieces.
Here are some photos

I've got the ET48.3 and really want to be able to mount the Leadfinger bruggy body but the front mounts on the ET48.3 sit too high. Anyone modify the front shock tower to get the body mounts lower like on the 2.0?

Does anyone know the diameter of the hole in the shock tower that screw TKR1529 goes through?

I just ordered the 2.0 body mounts and screws and am going to drill holes in my et48.3 shock towers and make lower body mounts.

Any through hole for M3 screws is going to be 3.1mm in dia. You can alternatively use a 1/8" drill bit since that will be a lot easier to find and it's only a little bigger. Since the tolerances for body mounting are so loose a bigger hole won't hurt anything.

Awesome...thank you for the info.
