Hi all,

I'm contemplating a buggy EB48 2.0 to SCT48 2.0 conversion and was wondering if the SCT410 2.0 shock towers (TKR9568 front and TKR9569 rear) would fit on the EB48 2.0 gear boxes?

If they were, I would just add all the SCT410 2.0 body mounts and bumpers and call it a day.

Note 1: I'm not changing the arms / drive shafts / 17 mm hexes and will keep running buggy wheels.
Note 2: this is not going to be an official racing rig, totally OK to race as an "ugly" on 4s.

The SC towers will fit on the EB bulkheads. However, the entire suspension geometry is different. Camber link holes are not in the ideal spot for the buggy's suspension components and the bigger issue is that the shock locations are a lot lower on the SC towers. Lower shock holes will severely limit your uptravel. You can run shorter shocks to help that, but you will then lose droop.

Bummer, you’re giving me an excuse to get a new truck! 😆

Thanks for the reply @Matthew_Armeni !
