Diff crown orientation left or right

Does the crown gear go towards the right/passenger side, or left drivers side? Manual shows right but all my other 1/8 cars are on the left.

The crown gear goes to the passenger side. Orientation can vary between models for various reasons. Follow the manufactures instructions for the model you're working on.

If you flip the front and rear diffs, I found that is actually really helps plant the car. The rotating mass from the diffs going down helps alot! I did it on my eb48 2.0 and instantly noticed a difference.
