I took apart and cleaned my shocks.on my sct410.3 and noticed one was binding after reassembly. Shaft is straight body isn't dented. The only thing I noticed was the edge of piston looked scraped. Will it not bind with fluid in it. It's dry right now.

If the shaft is straight I would inspect the inside bore of the shock body. You mentioned the piston looked scraped. Over time dirt will get inside the shock body and if left long enough will score the inside diameter.

When you say it's dry do you also mean the orings aren't greased?
