Big Battery Options

Hi guys!

I'm looking at purchasing an SMC 6s battery and noticed that the length and width fit the tray fine BUT the height is an issue, as they're almost 3" tall. Because of this height, the Tekno battery straps are too short to secure it. Has anyone ran tall 6s batteries, and if so, what was your solution for securing them? Battery Strap Extenders? Doubling up on Tekno straps? Any and all thoughts are appreciated!

I've ran up to 66mm in height with the stock straps. You must be looking at the 7400mah which is 71mm. You can either find some longer straps or just buy the 5400mah which is 62mm.

Thanks Overkill. Yes, the 7400mah was what I was looking at, as it's only $8 more! Any tips on longer straps?

Just do a search for "velcro cinch straps" buy one according to how long you need it to be. I don't know the length of the tekno straps off hand, unfortunately.

I use the SMC 6s with no problems, stock straps.

Good to know the stock straps work! I’m going to purchase the 6s SMC battery soon. Not the 7400 mah one though. The smaller one.
