I noticed the steering turnbuckles on my Tekno's use angled ball ends, and the camber ball ends are straight. Is there a reason for this, perhaps strength?
I've got a bunch of 1.5th scalers with some serious heft to them, and they all use the straight style. Probably a very dumb question, but I thought I'd ask.

I should also point out that spare ball ends (straight) from say, Kyosho are less than half the price of the Tekno's, so that's why I ask :)

Thanks!

I believe the angled ends are to allow the wheels to actuate farther without rubbing on the inside of the wheel to get maximum steering travel.

I double checked, and you are absolutely correct!

I probably should have seen this had I of actually looked with the wheels on :)
