6s on et48 using two 3s shorty packs (protek 3s 4100mah packs) in series?

I like protek batteries, but they don't seem to have a 6s pack. And, their 3s packs are only shorties (at least on amain).

The dimensions of the shorty pack are:
43x93x24mm

So, I could easily get two of them into the battery tray either side by side or stacked one on top of the other. They would need a block of foam to serve as a shim, since they'd leave a lot of room in the tray, but other than that, and a bit of extra wiring, I don't see any major disadvantages.

Anyone running a setup like this?
 
I would buy a single 6S pack, asking for too much trouble running packs in series, more info here with all the hassle involved when running packs in series:

Everything explained in the article I linked explains all the issues I had with packs in series many years ago, I have since avoided buying many brands of cars simply because they were designed to run packs in series.
