newbie question: what can I take from an ERevo 2.0 VXL?

Are you guys comparing the same vehicles and hexes? My MT has star hexes, the ET48.3 and EB48.4 have the full sized ones, at least on mine. And all parts are stock on all mine.

I meant full sided hexes. Anyway, I love the 'friendly' back and forth. Nothing like a good argument!

The traxxas wheels absolutely do fit on the Tekno “star” hexes. I have a couple set of traxxas wheels ....they do fit.

So the original question was, what can carry over from an erevo 2.0 to an mt410. Here is the talon ext wheels (stock traxxas wheel and tire from the 2.0) on a factory kit mt410....

I've never seen a Traxxas wheel so I can't say one way or another, but it is pretty strange that one is saying with 100% certainty that it won't fit and one is saying with 100% certainty that it will, on something that seems like it should be so cut and dry.

I think they are comparing something else completely...LOL!

Here is a pic of the wheel and some tekno hexes...

I couldn't confirm personally but looking and comparing it to the hex tekno uses, I can imagine it would be a direct fit. The notches don't look big enough to impeded installation.

I agree, there must be something off in our comparison. I wonder, being as my kit is less than a year old, if there was a running change in the mt hex?

I wondered that myself. I got my MT exactly a year ago and it has star hexes, then added the ET48.3 and EB48.4 earlier this year. Both of those do not have star hexes and absolutely would not work with those Traxxas wheels without modification.

I'm sure everyone that has read this thread by now knows that they where most definitely talking about 2 different sets of hexes. One guy had a et48 which came with standard 17mm wheel hexes and the mt410 came out with sloted 17mm hexes. Why they never just looked it up is beyond me 🤦. I've only seen 2 other trucks that came with the same hexes as the Revo and those trucks is the mt410 and a redcat trmt8e

I bet the guy arguing the fact that the E-Revo wheels will not fit on a Tekno MT felt real silly when the guy posted a picture showing his wheel hexes 😂. My Tekno MT 410 came with notched hexes as well.
