What would be the most useful test to run on shock oil using a 100k$ viscosity testing apparatus?

So it looks like I can run whatever tests using a top of the line viscosimeter in the next few weeks. Not a cheap desktop one that barely costs a few grands, but a top of the line one that costs close to 100k, controls temp, pressure etc, can do tests on tiny amounts of stuff, at various speeds and accelerations etc.

I was thinking about comparing the properties of what I have lying around: Losi vs Tekno vs Hobbyking shock oil, but I'm open to suggestions. Limit is around 1500cst on this model, so no diff oil unfortunately.

If not useful, at least for science!

Thats cool!

I would like to see Tekno oils compared to the PT racing oils. I think AE oils would be worth throwing in the mix too, since they are so readily available at most LHS's.

Some have tried doing comparison charts in the past, but none have been comprehensive enough to be of any value, it would be nice is someone were to buy every brand of oil and chart the results, but that just isn't practical:

I stick with PTRC because that's what all the Tekno Team drivers are using and that makes it easier for me to go off their setups as a baseline.
