  1. MT410
Anyone considering building this out as a 1/10th scale basher??

Why buy a new ET410 to make it a monster truck? Why not buy an MT410 instead or am I missing something?
Using 2s and 3s batteries and power systems instead of 4s and 6s would be the only thing I can think of, but I would rather start with the SCT410 platform myself.

And to be fair, Tekno has the MT410 being called a 1/10th scale, but I truly believe it is 1/8th scale but the monster truck scene doesn't have any defined specs for each scale.

Purely from a size factor a smaller MT similar to wheelbase of a Stampede could be fun, @Chevys10zr2003 nailed it, the MT410 is not really 1/10 scale, it is pretty much 1/8.

I always liked "Thomas P's" Arrma Siren made from a shortened Arrma Typhon (reduced the Typhon 34mm) here: https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/arrma-siren-6s-blx-1-10th-4wd-truck-by-tpparts-rcxtreme.2420/

I was thinking this would be pretty close to that size. But I would imagine the shorty pack limitation would hinder the ability to make a high power basher.

But just think how this thing could fly with as light as it is!!

From the pics, it looks like there is plenty of room to swap the shorty tray for a standard sized battery tray - just drill a few holes, and done.

Edit - after another look, maybe the spur gear is in the way of installing a standard size battery tray, bummer...

As for why the smaller ET410 and not a ET48 or MT410 - well bigger is not always better. Around my yard, I grab my 1/16 truggy more then any other car, including my Kraton, Typhon, Torment, XXCR, RC10WE (re-re), or whatever else. a mid-sized MT-ET410 would be a lot of fun, and I bet pretty cabable basher with some 2.8MT tires.
Kind of like this - a Hobao 10TT, with some 2.8MT tires at a BMX track. 2s is a bit tame, but on 3s this little truck screams!
