How to build Tekno shocks

Thanks for adding this video. I know it has been watched everytime I have to take my shocks apart. Thankfully this is not something I have to do often.

A tip I learned from Joe Bornhorst who helped rebuild my shocks at a race once.... when doing an emulsion setup, don't pump the shocks 20 times like they say in the manual, just slowly bleed the air out (very slow) to where you want to minimize the fluid coming out of the bleeder hole, then fasten the bleeder screw before pumping the shocks 20 times... it keeps more fluid in the shock and you get smoother more consistent handling.

Here's a heads up on the emulsion build and I touched on it in my build thread last night....
If your shocks are getting inconsistent it's a good possibility your cartridge o-rings are leaking. They're cheap to replace and if your shock 0-rings are leaking the emulsion shocks will not perform correctly because you're taking air in from that leak. You will most likely not see fluid leaking but you will notice dirt getting into your shocks. Keep an eye on the color of your shock oil.

I like to rebuild my shocks once every 2-3 race days... I will pour the shock fluid into an empty shock bottle so it can be recycled... fluid stays clean indefinitely if you rebuild often enough ;)

I use Green Grease brand lube on all my rubber seals and use a generous amount skewer style as I'm rebuilding each cartridge.
