I allready own a extended MT410/48 with m2c upgrades and all the turf...

However id like to build a light and nimble basher next.
My plan was to start with a buggy, add some badlands 3.8 or amewi mt wheels maybe a center brace and call it a day.

Should i start with a EB48.4 or 2.0? How is the part compatibility from the 2.0 TP my MT/ET.

The .4 is more parts compatible than the 2.0. The .3 even more so....I have a .3 in great condition that I am going to put up for sale really soon if you are interested.

The EB48.4 is a pain to fit smaller wheels like 2.8 or even 3.2. It barely clears GT8 wheels for on road. I have two of them and I'm starting to consider selling one. Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad buggy, it is just a pain to "build with".

The EB48.3 is almost like a better place to start.
The EB48.2 has the same towers than the MT410, hence can fit the mt410 body posts and can be easily turned into an 1/8 SCT or other.

On the other hand, EB48.x get full support from 3rd party vendors like M2C, T-Bone Racing,,,

The EB48 2.0 looks like an amazing buggy, I would buy it in a heart beat if it was anywhere close to being a reasonable thing to do. I feel like it has major improvements starting with easier diff access and a lot more room for electronics.

Since you are planning on "playing with the build", I would consider a used EB48.3. They go for really cheap. The only thing with buying used is you have to disassemble - clean - reassemble, which can be perceived as being boring.

I am from EU and found a EB48.4 from a racer (guess hes switching to the 2.0).
Going to run Badlands 3.8 or Amewi MT817 Wheels on it (allready own those).

Also found a MMM Rear and Middle Brace, all Allracing Stearing Cover i have allready and some 15mm Extended Hexes.

ELO will be
EzRun 4274 (from my old MT)
DYNAMITE FUZE 90A (from my old Losi) untill it goes up in flames
Corally 5226 Servo
15T
6s

Should be fine for a small basher.

Let us know how those badlands clear the buggy. Enjoy!

3.8 Badlands on EB48.4.

Not enough clearance to the shocks on full stearing with stock hexes. I installed 25mm offset ones for pictures. Nice wide stance, i will test 15mm offset hexes tomorrow - im kinda positive even 10mm would be enough..

So i am confident 10mm offset hexes would be fine, however i like the wide stance of the buggy and will keep it like that for now.

Coming together.

i went with eb48.4 on 2.8's
no issues. rc8t hex extenders are plug and play.

m2c mt410 stuff will be going on this rig.

although i will say, if i could have afford it, i would have went 2.0 and threw the 2.8 wheels on there. extenders if needed..

possibly be a while before m2c releases stuff for 2.0

Rich is promoting arrma at the moment, you have to wait till the cow is milked enough before the next hype will get started ;)

Team Magic
TM505231BK-15

Fit perfect on ther Teknos. They also make 10mm ones.
